Calgary Home and Garden Show

In my time at Golden Acre, one of the events I’m always excited to be a part of is the Calgary Home and Garden Show. It’s kind of like our unofficial kickoff to spring as the best local and national home and garden related businesses, creators, and experts gather under one roof to inspire, answer all your questions, and help put things into motion for all your wish list projects!

Last year was SO much fun! We had a great team and a great booth filled with seed starting essentials and fountains for sale. One of my favourite people, Bobbi, from West Coast Seeds, hung out with us and was a popular lady answering all your seed related questions! You may recall, one of my other favourite people, Colin, head of hard goods and marketing, was even a voice on the Home and Garden stage joined by our friend Tracy from Growtronics specializing in grow lighting.

Colin is returning to the Home and Garden Stage this year with a presentation on growing seeds! He’s covering everything from seed selection to transplanting outdoors, so be sure to catch him on Thursday, February 27^th, at 3PM. You’ll also see our jungle of plants displayed throughout the showroom. Yep, they’re real! And please stop by and visit us in booth 367 because we’re going bigger this year! Like, we’re bringing the BIG fountains and MORE merchandise! It’s gonna look sooooo good!
