WEST COAST SEEDS PINNACLE SPAGHETTI

  • C. pepo. A new semi-bush spaghetti squash variety with bright yellow skin, and superior interior quality.
  • The strands of flesh are fine and tasty.

  • Plants are early maturing with large, oval fruits 18cm (7 inches) long by 13cm (5 inch) in diameter. Fruits average 1.5kg (3 lbs) each.
  • No spaghetti squash will grow more compactly than Pinnacle.
  • Matures in 85 days. (Hybrid seeds)

    Growing Squash

  • Direct sow or transplant in late spring once the soil is warm. For transplants, start seeds indoors during the first two weeks of May. Optimal soil temperature: 25-35°C (77-95°F). Seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.


    Companion Planting For Squash

  • Companions: corn, lettuce, melons, peas, and radish. Borage is said to improve the growth and flavour of squash. Marigolds and nasturtium repel numerous squash pest insects.
  • Avoid planting squash near Brassicas or potatoes.
