MASON AND LEAFCUTTER BEE REEDS:
These reeds will be used by blue orchard and leafcutter bees, and other native mason bees will use their varying sized holes as well.

  • These reeds are natural lake bed reeds for use with your bees.
  • They have been hand cut with varying hole sizes from 7-10 mm (0.28 to 0.41inches) and are about 15 cm (6 inches) long.
  • In a side-by-side comparison, a spring mason bee will prefer reeds over tubes or wood trays. It is the unique shape, color and size of the reeds allow nesting bees to easily find their specific hole.
