How long has Golden Acre been operating?
Golden Acre has been Calgary’s garden centre since 1967. In 2017, we are proudly celebrating our 50th Anniversary.

Absolutely! We are proud to offer our professional planting services for all of our trees, shrubs, evergreens and large caliper trees.
Does Golden Acre provide landscaping services?
We sure do! Our highly skilled and experienced staff offer a full spectrum of landscape construction services. You can also come see our huge Landscape Renovation Showroom to get new ideas for your dream yard! Some of the services we provide include:
- Stone patios, pathways, retaining walls and pathways
- Wood or composite decks, fencing, stairs, railing, gazebos and arbors

We accept resumes year-round. Our spring push begins in early February.
Does Golden Acre carry organic and eco-friendly green products?
We are proud to say that we have one of the largest selections of eco-friendly and organic products. We carry non-GMO seeds, heirloom seeds, organic soils, organic fertilizers, eco-friendly insect controls, humane animals controls, chemical free weed controls and pet-friendly products.
How can I check the status of an order I have made online?
You will find a link at the bottom of our website to assist you in tracking your orders. Use the tracking number provided when you have completed your transaction and input it into the field provided under this link. For our local delivery service, please refer to the estimated date of arrival provided once you have completed your transaction.
