IN-STORE RETURN POLICY

i. NON-LIVE ITEMS

The original sales receipt MUST be presented, no exceptions.

Items and packaging must be in its original state and deemed resalable by Golden Acre.

Items purchased in-store can be returned within 90 days from the date of purchase or delivery.

Claims for items delivered damaged or missing must be made within 24 hours from the date of delivery.

Eligible refunds will be made to the original form of payment (credit card, debit card, cash). Purchases made with a gift card or store credit will be refunded as a store credit.

A restocking fee of 25% may apply for certain items.

NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND

  • Items purchased with a discount of 25% or greater are final sale and will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Seasonal holiday merchandise, customized merchandise, special orders and gift cards will not be eligible for a refund.

Golden Acre reserves the right to request valid identification for any return transaction. In certain cases, Golden Acre reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS FOR IN-STORE PURCHASES

Please bring the item(s) to our in-store customer service desk along with the original sales receipt for immediate processing.

Items purchased in-store can only be returned in-store.

ii. LIVE ITEMS (PLANTS)

The original sales receipt MUST be presented, no exceptions.

Plants purchased in-store can be returned within 48 hours from the date of purchase or delivery.

Plants must be in their original state and deemed resalable by Golden Acre.

Claims for plants delivered damaged or missing must be made within 24 hours from the date of delivery.

Sod purchased in-store can be returned within 24 hours from the date of purchase or delivery.

Eligible refunds will be made to the original form of payment (credit card, debit card, cash). Purchases made with a gift card or store credit will be refunded as a store credit.

A restocking fee of 25% may apply for certain items.

NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND

  • Plants purchased with a discount of 25% or greater are final sale and are not eligible for a refund.
  • Holiday plants are not eligible for a refund.

Golden Acre reserves the right to request valid identification for any return transaction. In certain cases, Golden Acre reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of merchandise.

iii. LIVE ITEMS (PLANTS)

Trees, shrubs and evergreens are guaranteed for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Perennials are guaranteed up to the first frost of the year they were purchased.

Tropicals and houseplants are guaranteed for up to thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.

Eligible refunds will be made to the original form of payment (credit card, debit card, cash). Purchases made with a gift card or store credit will be refunded as a store credit.

A restocking fee of 25% may apply for certain items.

NOT ELIGIBLE FOR GUARANTEE

  • Plants deemed by Golden Acre to be improperly planted, maintained or cared for will not eligible for guarantee.
  • Plants damaged by animal and/or pest and/or mechanical damage and/or weather such as wind, hail, flood, drought, snow and/or acts of nature are not eligible for guarantee.
  • Annual plants, annual planters, flowering tropicals, bonsais, orchids, tea roses, cedars and yews are not guaranteed.
  • Plants purchased with a discount 25% or greater are final sale and are not eligible for guarantee.

Golden Acre reserves the right to request valid identification for any guarantee transaction. In certain cases, Golden Acre reserves the right to limit or refuse guarantees.
